American Truck Simulator expanding Northeast

SCS is officialy working on exapanding the ATS map more and more, and the direction they are taking for now is the Northwest of America. Currently working on Oregon, The Beaver State, they are slowly heading towards the State of Washington.

In Oregon we will encounter various environments such as “deep forests, dense shrublands, deep calm lakes, wide rivers, steep mountain ranges, volcanoes, high desert and the Pacific Ocean’s coastline”.

Also they say that the economy of the game will be corresponding to the state that you are in. This is indeed a quite realistic feature. With that said, in Oregon we will find specific industries like wood harvesting, sawmills, paper mills or furniture industry.
