This is a ATS skin from SCS that I wanted to talk about for a while now. American Truck Simulator is pretty old now. Do you know where it all started? It all started with Hard Truck series, in the early 2000s. So let’s learn some history.
Hard Truck
Hard Truck is a series of truck simulation games. Just like American Truck Simulator, it puts you in the driver seat of a trucker. You used to choose a location out of three and haul cargo across the USA. The game principle is pretty much the same. They are really similar! All that is changed are mostly the graphics, physics, models, etc. Below is an actual gameplay footage. What do you think? The warzone hack is what a gamer wants to get their hands on to make the game more interesting.
Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel was released in 2002. This is a great tribute to it! SCS mentions that you used to start in Denver, Colorado. Now after all these years, you can visit it again buy it’s completely changed! Just check out the new ATS Colorado DLC. American Truck Simulator came so far! From Hard Truck, we also got the Euro Truck Simulator 2 series. That’s really cool.
How to earn the ATS paint job
Also there’s a little bit of twist. So check this out: everyone can get this new paintjob. You just need to complete the following requirements:
- Be registered in World of Trucks and connect your American Truck Simulator game
- Complete an external contract job that is over 500 miles long
- Go back to the WoT website and claim your gift!
