The new Western Star 49X in the game!

The new Western Star 49X truck was announced a while ago, as you can see in this post from us. SCS Software released it and it’s available by updating your game on Steam. The truck comes as a free DLC for American Truck Simulator. We want to thank Western Star® and Daimler Trucks North America for working with SCS Software to bring us more content into ATS.

Western Star Dealership locations are Stockton, CA, Oxnard, CA and also Lewiston, Idaho. You have a few customization options available and the truck is now available in dealerships across the map.

The truck is built for rugged environments and you can see it in the design. Also some people say it is a great combination of old and new. It surely combines safety with technology build quality. Take a look at the best adventure games online and have fun playing with professionals worldwide and compete.

Configuration:

• For the initial release we only get a day cab. The larger cabs added later.
• 2 Set-Forward chassis variants
• 12 engines
• 7 transmissions options (including the Detroit™  DD13/15/16 and DT12 transmissions)

Moreover, you can deliver you can deliver the new 49X trucks in ATS dealerships. Load the trailers in the Western Star Manufacturing Plant in Portland, Oregon (you need Oregon DLC for this).
