Let’s go to Texas in American Truck Simulator!

Texas is the next American Truck Simulator DLC! It was just announced by SCS Software. The ATS map expansion is still in early development and we will have to wait some time for the release. Meanwhile ATS Wyoming is expected to be released earlier. Follow us on Facebook to stay up to date!

Texas is the 2nd largest state in the USA and also the second as an economy. Given the size and economic power, we will have many new industries with this DLC. SCS says we can expect anything from livestock to energy and aeronautics.

Talking about the landforms, there’s plenty. So to start with, you have to imagine the height of the state going down from West to East. The Eastern part is the coastal part at the Gulf of Mexico. Their neighbors, from left to right, are New Mexico, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Also in the South-Western part, their neighbor is Mexico! So, as you can see, there’s plenty of stuff going on in Texas.
