Western Star 49X is a new truck recently released to American Truck Simulator. The master of the sounds in ATS, Kapitan Kriechbaum already came with a custom sound for it. Also coming with this, is the Engine sound mega pack.
This mod adds those engines and their sounds in the game:
- Cummins M11
- Cummins 444
- Caterpillar 3406E
- Detroit 60 Series
- Paccar MX series
- 8V92
- Detroit DD13-15-16 (same sound for all of them).
I’ve recorded few months ago a Mercedes engine (OM471), and this same engine is used in the US rebadged as a DD13-15 series. I decided to make it working with this truck. So you can have something pretty realistic for a new truck.
